Production Operator

Full time permanent, working 37.5 hours per week.  

Working hours between 6am and 5pm offering flexibility.  

Salary starting from £24,784 per annum.  

The Role

First Light Lamps is a global leader in the supply of Xenon and Krypton lamps for the photonics industry, based just outside of Ely, Cambridgeshire. 

As part of our Production team, you will be responsible for carrying out daily duties as required by the business to meet production targets which could include using small lathes, small gas torches, brazing, polishing and cleaning components.   

Your new role will be varied, working in line with procedures, producing products of high quality. You would be responsible for using equipment correctly and communicating any concerns with the supervisor of your department. 

Being a team player is key to this role, along with high attention to detail and having a practical approach. 

If you have experience of working in a similar environment or industry, this would be beneficial however for the right person full training and development would be offered.  

 This role is a full-time permanent opportunity working 37.5 hour per week Monday-Friday between 6am and 5pm.
