Trigger Transformers

Trigger Transformers are a small, usually ferrite cored component used in applications requiring a high voltage pulse, typically to start ionization of a gas to allow a current to pass. Once the initial gas has reached ionization the lamp is then held in simmer waiting for the the capacitor discharge to then flash the lamp.
